Guy Litton, Managing Broker on our team, was born in Vancouver, B.C. and moved to Victoria at about age 20. Guy’s first career was that of a meat cutter and manager of an “Olde Fashioned” style butcher shop where the fat little butcher behind the counter gets your daily meals, wrapping it in butcher paper and always giving the kids a wiener or pepperoni stick to keep them occupied while you chose your daily meat cuts. In 1976 Guy moved to Nanaimo and operated his own butcher shop at Beaufort Centre for a number of years. Anyone shopping with Guy would remember him saying “We meat the nicest people”.
In June 1983, Guy left the meat business and joined Bowen Realty as a licensed REALTOR®.“The Bowen Boys” as they were sometimes called, took him under their wing and Guy learned new ways to help people purchase their first home or sell one to move to another. Guy studied for and earned his Real Estate Broker license in 1989. As the real estate industry changed, company names changed and Bowen Realty became RE/MAX of Nanaimo.
About 1992, Guy started his own property management and Realty office and was busily involved in residential real estate management for literally hundreds of rental properties in and around Nanaimo. Guy sold the company in 2006, but he just couldn’t sell himself on leaving the real estate industry.
In Guy’s 32 year real estate and management career, the business of real estate has changed dramatically. Technology now helps buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants view properties online long before viewing them on the street.
Guy came home to RE/MAX of Nanaimo in July 2014 and acts as Managing Broker for the RE/MAX of Nanaimo Property Management division.

Licensed Property Manager
Brett was born in Alberta and moved to BC “The Okanagan“ at a young age. When he graduated High School in Kelowna, he decided to move back to Alberta where he raised his family while pursuing a career as a medic in the oil patch.
After a couple of life changing deaths in his family Brett decided to make a major life change and moved to Vancouver Island to be closer to his father and other family.
Brett began his career in Property Management in 2010 in Parksville and moved to Nanaimo in December 2011.
Brett joined RE/MAX of Nanaimo in 2017 as a Licensed Property Manager and is very happy to have found “The Place” to hang his Property Management Hat.

Lauren was born in Vancouver, B.C and moved to different parts of BC with her family in her younger years and finally settled in Nanaimo as home. After graduation from high school Lauren’s first real job was Pharmacy Technician for a six-year period. Seeking a change, Lauren went to school to become a legal assistant but found her real passion when she joined a property management firm in 2016 and joined the RE/MAX team in 2018.
Lauren loves to be involved in her community and she enjoys various volunteering opportunities such as the Silly Boat Regatta for the Children’s Development Centre.
When Lauren is not working or volunteering she is exploring the Island with her husband Kohle and their daughter Quinn, mountain biking or just reading a really good book.

Mandarin Speaking Licensed Property Manager
Juliet joined RE/MAX of Nanaimo in 2018 with the belief that landlords need professionals to assist them in caring for their investment properties and their search for responsible tenants for their investment properties.
Juliet moved to Nanaimo in 2008 after completing her Bachelor Degree in Business in New Zealand. Coming from out of Canada and adjusting to the cultural differences in Canada, Juliet kept learning to finish her double Master Degree in Business Administration as well as a Masters in Science in International Business. After years of studies, Juliet joined the Coast Bastion Hotel as a Front Desk Supervisor and Sales & Event Coordinator for eight years. Highly involved in the daily operation, Juliet has full experience and understanding of a people-oriented business.
